Trinity sits on higher ground just west of Decatur, between Highway 72 and Highway 24. John Killen inspects its established neighborhoods and newer homes alike.
Trinity's first settlers chose the high ground on purpose. In the 1810s, planters built homes up here to escape the mosquitoes of the lowlands, and the community later became a stagecoach stop known for its rock quarries. It was incorporated as Trinity Station in 1901 and went back to plain Trinity two years later. Today the town sits just west of Decatur, framed by U.S. Highway 72 to the north and State Highway 24 to the south, with Morgan County schools and ballfields at its heart. John Killen inspects homes in Trinity from his base in Florence.
Trinity's mix of established homes and newer construction means buyers need an inspector comfortable with both. John is a State of Alabama Certified Real Estate Inspector, licensed, certified and insured, and he inspects new builds before closing as well as homes with decades behind them. If you're buying a newly built home, his new construction inspections give you an independent look before you sign off.
Trinity knows what severe weather can do. The 2011 tornado outbreak destroyed one of the town's oldest homes, and spring storms still test roofs, siding and windows every year. John checks for storm damage, roof wear and water intrusion, and Morgan County's place on Alabama's high radon potential list makes his 48-hour test worth considering. Your same-day report includes clear photos. Call or text John at 256-335-0028 to schedule your Trinity inspection.
